- 職位描述：
- The Technical Designer role needs support the technical aspects of all apparel categories from initial design development protos to final approval for production. Collaborates with US/CN team by ensuring the technical, functional and physical fit are appropriately executed to achieve the design aesthetic. Provide the technical support to US TD and factories in order to meet the fitting/design intent.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Play as a contact window between US team and factories.
? Conduct sample evaluation in terms of fitting, measurement, grading, construction, functional performance.
? Solve the problem of pattern/fitting/construction issues.
? Provide technical advice to factories for improvement if needed.
? Need to be part of risk analysis team to sort out the risky issues.
? Travel to factories to settle the technical problems when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level: College or university graduated.
(Preferable in Textile field or similar qualification)
? At least 5 years’ experience as Technician in sample development for outerwear and sportwear.
? Technical knowledge of woven/knit/sweater, especially performance fabric for outwear/sportwear.
? Good knowledge in garment technical (fitting, grading, construction, paper pattern, fabric testing, bonding/seam seal).
? Attentive to detail, well organized with good communication, self-motivated and pro-active.
? Good command of written and oral English.
? Common computer knowledge related to work – Microsoft Office Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop. Good at 3D pattern making would be perfect.
? Good communication with factory technical team.
? Ability to work independently.
